Aprons and Smocked Dresses

When my first born was four I learned to smock for her and her baby sister. Four girls and two boys later, I am still smocking and developing new patterns and ideas.

Here are some of the many dresses that I have for sale. The first photo is a long-sleeved bishop style dress in maize calico. It is pictured smocked with a hen and her husband! This pattern is a favorite of my girls who have many feathered friends of their own! The dress is available in an assortment of calicos or you can, of course, provide your own fabric.

The same "chicken"design is pictured above in a 100% cotton chambray jumper with red rick-rack trim. This is a great style as it allows for lots of growth! Simply move the buttons as your child grows. We wear these jumpers year-round with a turle neck, a blouse or bare-armed depending on the weather!

The little lamb dress above is perhaps my favorite and also happens to be my "best seller." I offer it in chambray, denim, fine wale corduroy of every color, every solid broadcloth or gingham color you can think of as well as a variety of calicos. Calico selections vary depending on what I have in stock. I will post new photos of these as they become available.

At the very bottom of this page, the big girls are pictured wearing the wrap around jumper with the same sheep design. Often we add a black sheep in the bunch!

All clothing is made of the highest quality, natural fabrics, and are french machine sewn. The dresses have deep hems, to allow for growth. The dresses are vailable in sizes newborn to 14 years. Prices vary depending on the amount of smocking and degree of difficulty. Please e-mail for a quote.
